The City of Santa Fe Springs has established an RV Parking Permit Program under Ordinance No. 1156, Section 72.26, to address citywide concerns related to recreational vehicle parking. Beginning March 28, 2025, residents and RV owners must obtain a temporary permit to park RVs or trailers on city streets. Permits are available through the Police Services Center and require proof of residency and valid vehicle registration. Residents may request up to three permits per month, with each permit valid for up to three consecutive days. Permits for out-of-town visitors are also available, allowing parking for up to seven consecutive days per month, not to exceed 21 days per year. All permitted vehicles must comply with city parking regulations, including street sweeping schedules, distance requirements, and safety restrictions. This program helps maintain neighborhood accessibility, safety, and quality of life while allowing for temporary RV parking when needed. For more information, please contact the Police Services Center at (562) 409-1850.
