The City of Santa Fe Springs provides water service to the vast majority of the City residents and businesses, but there are several other water companies that provide water services.

The easiest way to determine who your water provider will be is to check your water bill, which will indicate what agency serves water to your address and it should have a phone number to call for questions and or complaints.

If you are not sure who your water provider is, please check
your water bill which should provide a 24-hour emergency number. 

If the City of Santa Fe Springs is your water provider, please call (562) 409-7520, whereby you will be directed to the City’s after hours’ notification procedure. 
 
How do I start water service?
Residential Service:  $75 deposit
Commercial Service: $150 deposit

Your deposit amount is required before your water service is started.  You can pay that either with a credit card (everything except American Express) over the phone or you can pay in person.  We will also need your billing information.

To pay over the phone, please call us at (562) 409-7520 or may contact us through GoSFS.

To pay in person, come to City Hall at 11710 Telegraph Road, Monday thru Thursday between 7:30 am - 5:30 pm.

You may call, email, or use GoSFS to let us know you would like to stop water service.

Please let us know your forwarding address, so we can send you your final bill and the date you would like your service to be stopped. Note that the City requires 24 hour advance notice before your water service can be stopped.
