What is the Family and Youth Intervention Program?
The Family and Youth Intervention Program’s mission is to positively engage families and their children (ages 7-17), who are experiencing relationship and/or developmental challenges. FYIP staff collaborate with Police Services, Los Angeles Probation Department, all City departments, local schools and agencies to assist children and their families with multidisciplinary intervention strategies. 
What are Some of the Services Offered Through the FYIP?

School Attendance Review Team (SART)

Saturday Leadership Academy

Diversity Programs including annual Cesar E. Chavez Recognition luncheon and Museum of Tolerance field trips

How do I Initiate Contact for a Child or Family?

By simply calling the offices for an appointment, by inquiring with any City office/facility, or by using GoSFS.

Can my Teenager Satisfy his/her Court Ordered Community Service Through this Program?
Yes, the service is free to Santa Fe Springs residents and there is a $100 fee for non-residents.
