Can I get overdue notices and hold notification via e-mail?
E-mail notification is available. Simply call the library at 562-868-7738 and have your library card ready.
Can I return my borrowed items to any library?
No, the items must be returned to the Santa Fe Springs City Library.
Does it cost anything to check out items?
There is a $1 fee per item for entertainment DVDs and videos. All other materials are free to check out.
I forgot my card at home. Can I still check out materials?
If you have forgotten your card, we allow a one-time use of photo identification to check out materials.
I lost an item. What do I do?

If you have lost an item, please call the library at 562-868-7738. You will be charged for the cost of the item, plus a processing fee.

If I don't live in the city, can I still get a library card?
If you live in California and have a photo identification and verification of address, you can get a library card. Please visit Register for a Library Card for more information.
I've lost my card. What do I do?
If your card has been lost or stolen, please call the Santa Fe Springs City Library immediately. The replacement card fee is $1 for the first 3 cards and $5 for each subsequent card.
