Are the Wading Pools free?
Yes. There are no fees to access the wading pools at any of our four parks. 
Can I rent a batting cage?
Yes. The batting cages at Little Lake Park are managed by The Hitting Zone. Please contact (562) 945-2525.
Do I have to reserve a spot for a picnic?
Most picnic venues do not require a reservation nor a fee.  However, each of the city parks hosts a formal pavilion.  You must reserve these formal sites, at a fee, to guarantee availability through the Parks and Recreation Services Division by calling Town Center Hall at (562) 863-4896. Please note reservations are required for any group of 50 or more individuals per SFS M.C. 130.04.18.
Do you allow jumpers on the park? Is there an additional fee?
Jumpers are allowed with an additional permit from the Parks and Recreation Services Division. There is a $50 jumper fee.
Do you have a hall I can rent for a birthday party, wedding, or special event?

Yes! The City of Santa Fe Springs offers a variety of choices for a facility to hold your special event, including parks, Town Center Hall’s Social Hall and meetings rooms, Teen Lounge, Betty Wilson Center, Heritage Park, Train Caboose, Clarke Estate, Gus Velasco Neighborhood Center, and more!

Do you offer any sports programs?
Yes. The Parks and Recreation Services Division offers a wide array of youth and adult sports programs for all ages and abilities. For more information on current offerings, please click here or call the Activity Center at (562) 948-1986.
How do I rent an athletic field?
You can reserve an athletic field through the City’s Parks and Recreation Division by contacting Town Center Hall at (562) 863-4896 or clicking here to submit a request online.  As a reminder, all organized athletic activities require a permit from the Parks and Recreation Services Division.
How many canopies can I bring to the park?
Each party may have a maximum of (3) 10 ft. x 10 ft. canopies on any Santa Fe Springs park, per SFS MC 130.04.22. Canopies larger than 10 ft.x 10 ft. are not permitted (SFS MC 130.04.23).
I work in SFS. Can I register my child for a class?
The courtesy of a resident rate is only extended to you as a business resident.  All family members would be charged the non-resident rate.
Is the Activity Center free?
The Activity Center is available for all residents and business residents free of charge with valid state-issued ID displaying a Santa Fe Springs address. Non-residents are welcome for a $2 fee. Please click here for more information on the Activity Center or call (562) 948-1986. 
My child attends a school in the Little Lake City School District.  His/her school is not in the City of Santa Fe Springs.  Can we still get the resident rate?
Unfortunately, the school and or/your residence must have a City of Santa Fe Springs address to qualify for the resident rate. Please note if you child does attend school within City limits, you will need to bring proof of his or her enrollment at the time of registration in order to receive the resident rate.

Park hours vary by facility and are posted at each park. Recreation staff provides programming, equipment, and restroom access during the times below:

What do I have to do to workout at the Activity Center?
You must register for your Fitness Facility membership at Town Center Hall. Membership is currently only available to Santa Fe Springs residents and business residents. For more information on the Activity Center’s Fitness Facility, please click here.
