Clothing Assistance
The Family and Human Services Division has a Community Closet Program which assists resident school aged children and teens by allowing them the opportunity to trade "moderately worn" clothing that no longer fits for clothing that fits. Financial Assistance
City of Santa Fe Springs Families needing assistance to prevent eviction or avoid utility shut off may apply for assistance by calling the Neighborhood Center at (562) 692-0261.
Food
Needy families and individuals can receive free food items from the Neighborhood Center Food Pantry.  Contact the Neighborhood Center at (562) 692-0261.
Job Assistance

The Neighborhood Center has a listing of job opportunities available to reference. In addition, the Southeast Area Social Services Funding Authority (SASSFA) offers assistance in job searching to adults and youth at the Neighborhood Center.

Legal Services

The Family and Human Services Division offer a Legal Services program where volunteer attorneys provide free consultation. Several volunteer attorneys specialize in a variety of different fields.

Low Cost Medical Services
Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in partnership with the City of Santa Fe Springs offers free and low cost services to individuals who do not have insurance.  The Santa Fe Springs Family Health Center is located at 9251 Pioneer Blvd. (next door to the Neighborhood Center). Social Services
The Family Services Section provides a variety of social services to youth, families and older adults who live and/or work in Santa Fe Springs. Families or individuals needing assistance can contact the Neighborhood Center for an assessment appointment.  Services and referrals may then be provided to qualifying families.  Services may include: emergency food items, Notary Services, Advocacy Referrals, Income Tax Assistance (VITA), Youth Summer Employment, Legal Services, financial relief, utility bill assistance programs, and health and wellness.
